New edition
After TWENTY successful festivals in the depth of Siberia and after TWO years of a compulsory silence, we launch the next edition of the INTERNATIONAL KANSK VIDEO FESTIVAL — in exile.
A hybrid character of the event allows to incorporate online showcases and offline screenings in three countries: United States, Italy, and Serbia.
We still are focused on experimental works which are drifting, as a rule, between new cinematic and contemporary artistic languages.

About competition
It's free of charge only for those authors who previously participated in the International Competition, all others have to pay a submission fee.
No, the only way to submit is FilmFreeway or similar platforms. You can easily register and send us your application.
It means that on the same dates some of the events will happen online, and others offline.
Before applying please make sure what kind of rights you can give us for online and offline screenings. We’ll contact you or right holders beforehand to sign a screening agreement for each film of the International Competition program.
Unfortunately, at the moment the festival has no funds to invite participants. We hope to change this situation in future.
No, rather the Festival in exile: we had to move from Russia due to our strong unwillingness to hold the events there after the 24th of February 2024.
